How do I choose a massage therapy course?

So I want to have be a nurse and have a massage therapy business on the side. I don't want to spend more than a year doing my massage therapy course. I'ld like to do something in aromatherapy.

I'm quite confused as to which course I should choose. I think doing a diploma would be better than a certificate because I'ld get paid better, but there is such a wide range of courses that I'm confused.
