Dermalogica are introducing them into their professional spa product range, as are Sothys, which means Pevonia won't be far behind. The Sothys one is being promoted as a hot stone treatment because they put a stone in the bundle to keep them warmer for longer.

) http://www.touchamerica.com/ developed it and has links to their web site, but most of the website doesn't work, it didn't seem to last long, though looking around on the web, there seems to be a resurgence. I am sure with the Dermalogia push, it will suddenly be THE treatment for 2007.
I think they're traditionally used in southern style Thai massage following the meridians. There are also the Ayurvedic ones where they are opened up and rubbed over the body after they've been used on the body. the Thai ones are traditionally used on the next client after reheating them.
