Hi friends,
With a client supine on the table I have noticed one foot turned out away from the medial line more than the other. I would understand that this could be the result of tight rotator muscles at the hip joint ie. piriformis, quadratus femoris, internus and exterus, or weak adductor ie pectineus.
What I'd like to know is how do I identify which it is thats causing this problem and what is the treatment, or should I work on all muscles involved ?
While we are thinking on these lines what if the opposite is happening and the clients foot is inwardly rotated ie. pigeon toed?
Thanks for a reply
