FYI, it's been a few years ago, within the last 5 years..
I believe YuPing had this and were pretty good, I was there and they were pretty skilled.. then they went down..
Shanghai hotel had this also, but were OK, but not as much a routine as Yu Ping was.

Yu Ping did it right! There are certain knots and loops of the "Red rope" so that the lady can be suspended and comfortable. And has to be adjusted just before she flips over.

I rode a bicycle alone from Beijing to Shanghai last year, sleeping rough many nights and eating dirty street vendor food along the way. Well, if riding a bike required my sticking little brother near the moving chain and the gear, I would probably find a new hobby. No, I have never considered that possibility. Riding a bicycle in China is dangerous also. As is cross-country skiing. Risk vs reward. Life is too short (and often dreary) to let every possible dangerous outcome prevent one from experiencing any enjoyment.
