Help with therapy routines please

I am just going back into business after 3 years off with illness, does anybody have an aromatherapy massage routine and reflexology routine they can send me to refresh my brain.

When you trained you will have been given a routine or suggested order to follow as part of your exams, especially your practical. Just dig them out and practice on friends and family. That is all i did although now i practice regularly i have changed it to suit the clients needs more, as you will do as you get more experience, great you are feeling well enough to nstart again, it is good news.

Hi, maybe you could do a small refresher course? you'll be suprised how much you remember! there are also some good books with illustrations. As jane said, its what suits your client and you'll find yourself adapting to suit their needs x

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Why not try nipping down to your local library and finding a good book on massage and reflexology. Try get one that is nice and clear with simple instructions (like one you probably used at college) You should find basic routines in these and once you have your confidence you will be able to adapt to suit your clients etc.

I never really do the same routine twice - I just go with the flow, so to speak, and go with what the client needs, but this will just come with practice.

I think getting a book or digging out your notes would be better, chances are you'd not understand my routines - they can be quite cryptic and confusing unless you're shown.

I'm not a massage therapist but I do teach within the therapies I practice.

We recently had a couple of students who had been through a similar situation to yours and contacted us. We let them attend a few days of one of our hypnotherapy courses free of charge as a "refresher". I'm not saying that a training company is obliged to do this but it might be worth contacting the school you trained with and explaining the situation to see if they will help you.

Of course, revisiting your training notes/ text books as previously mentioned would be a good first port of call.
