Help with bad back please

Hi was wondering if anyone knows a recipe for lower back pain. I have quite a few oils but have never mad anything for a back pain.

I tend to use varying blends, depending on the clients other presenting problems and whether stimulation or relaxation is required. But assuming there are no blood pressure problems and the client is not pregnant, I would use 20ml carrier (I tend to use grapeseed), with 3 drops rosemary, 3 drops black pepper, 3 drops ginger and 1 drop of clove bud.

Other oils that are good for such conditions are marjoram, peppermint and chamomile.

Thanks Aromababe, this recipe is for my partner. He is a builder who suffers eveynow and then with lowerback muscular pain especially when lifting heavy blocks. He also suffers with a sore knee which swells up above his kneecap. Been to the doctors but they dont know what it is and tell him to take ibuprofen. I was wondering if he could use this on his knee also. He has no health problems and think a relaxing blend might be good for him.

Yes, you can use the same blend with the knee. I would also recommend that he has a few sessions with an osteopath.
