head shaking

Hi peeps, i have started another case study today, she has shaking head syndrome, been to see specialist way back and was told she had a neurological disorder,although they didnt state what it was and she couldnt tell me,me also has an affected voice, i know of people who have dystonia and compared the sypmtoms,and it appears to be the same.has any one ever treated any one with a similar thing.what did you find was the most helpful Oil.Or even movement, i have her for 5 weeks and would like to help her ,even if its only for a short while.I am not asking for answers ,but hints ,if you could, as i only have a short time to help her.I have advised that she see her dr again,i have known her for a while and it has got worse and she is a nice woman.hope you dont mind me asking.thanks in advance .L xx

I used to know someone with this: Non-Essential Tremor was her diagnosis. This means that it was a shake without a pathological origin (Parkinson's or MS, something like that). She'd been told she'd have to live with it, and was actually in sheltered accommodation at the age of 50!

As for oils, well I knew her before I trained, but based on other cases I've seen, Palma Rosa (if it is in your oils list), Marjoram, Neroli or maybe Mandarin or even Bergamot (on the like cures like principle?) are worth a try. Palma Rosa is good for MS.

There is a research paper that suggested that sometimes these symptoms have been triggered by past anti-depressant use.

I had a woman with this problem but her neurologist actually mentioned that this could have been the cause as she had been on a/d's from the age of 35 when her mum died and her symptoms developed 6 month after starting the a/d's. At the time is was just put down as a condition that had been triggered by stress (I am going back 20 years ago) but now they are finding a high % of peope with some form of head tremors have had a/d's. However, as a lot of joe public are on or have taken a/d's I wouldn't be sure as to how robust the connection is.

A bit like autism developing after immunisation, is it all just a coincidence.

However, back to the question from the OP, I always give my clients the oils to smell (individually) as I feel that they are often drawn to what they need at the time. I then select a mix of what they like that I know will blend well.

Works for me....and them.
