Yes, I have had one "professional" massage, and it wasn't nearly as good as the ones that I have had, from those Asian girls, at the mall.
They know how to do a deep massage, and they're a heck of a lot cheaper too.

Yes, however as a gift, make sure the person is OK with it. I gave a spa treatment to my wife and she gave it back to me. She didn't want to be touched by a stranger. I was embarrassed to say the least.

I wanna do that one day though. I LOVE getting massages. I have back pain and all kinds of problems with muscles and joints and bones. So a massage is amazingly relaxing for me. I'm always bothering my boyfriend to give me one lol

And well I dunno if it would be a good gift. It really depends on if the person is open to things like that ya know? If you think he/she would be open to getting touched by a stranger and enjoys massages then yes lol.

My Chiropractor came to my house and gave me a full body massage. Afterwards, I said that it wasn't as good as I would have expected but a few hours later, after he had packed up and gone home, I realised it was the first time in many years where I actually had no pain.

My condition gives me pain 24/7 and I actually felt good for a few weeks till I decided to do some gardening and wrecked my rhomboids again..grrr

I think I would have enjoyed the sensation a bit more if it had been done by an attractive women (hehehe). Men's hands are rough and heavy but a woman's hands are soft and supple.

If you give it as a gift, for a man, make sure it is a woman masseur (not sex massage, either)
