Lotus Touch Organic Naturals Massage Oil
Sacred Earth Botanicals Unscented Organic Massage Oil
As a therapist finishing up school i've tried a few oils so far, including both above as well as Bon Vital and Biotone. The lotus touch organics oil smells great and has a great glide, and doesn't leave a person feeling over oily or goopy after the massage as many seem to with Biotone. They claim it's also organic, but I don't know if that's true because I couldn't find validation to that. If you can find proof at www.lotustouch.com be my guest .
I also received free samples in the mail of Sacred Earth Botanicals which is USDA Certified organic. It seems to be pretty affordable for the quality of the oil claimed, and it also seems to have a good glide and consistency. This is also unscented, so that is beneficial for clients who don't like aromas but also a plus if you like putting your own essential oils in.
Next to this, i'd probably just make my own from scratch using olive or grapeseed oils as I haven't found many other really organic oils for a decent price.
Some other oils i've found that are pricey, but very good quality seem to be:
www.badgerbalm.com
www.mountainroseherbs.com
And these are pecifically ayurvedic, the first is priced decently:
www.banyanbotanicals.com
www.tattvasherbs.com
www.ayurvedapura.com
Let me know if you have tried the above brands and what you think of them, but also let me know if you have any good recommendations for organic oils not listed here (affordable or not).
