Hi,
My husband currently has chicken pox (he prides himself on being youthful, but I think this was taking it a bit far lol!).
I wanted to blend something that would help the itchyness and try to control the spots, but remember seeing a post about oil making the skin feel hotter - so I blended some Melissa, Chamomile, Lavender and Tea Tree and diluted it with distilled water. I put the mixture into a plant mister and spray him two or three times a day. It seems to help cool the skin and stop the itching quite well - though this may come in useful for someone else, our doc said there is a lot of chicken pox around at the moment.
Best wishes
