I can't believe there isn't a thread for this topic yet.....How do you do myofascial work on a hairy person. I have such a hard time with this one. Obviously, it pulls at the hair when done dry and once oil is applied, you can't get grip. :?:

Instead of using oil, try rubbing a little bit of cocoa butter (you can buy it in stick form) onto your hands or knuckles (or whichever part you're using) before hand. That gives you a little glide so you don't pull out hair but still gives you the ability to grip the tissue.

Also remember that the slower you go, the less likely you'll pull hair.

If it is a regular client... they only way to do it is to have them trim it down... a client of mine volunteered this solution, which solved the problem. I don't know how many really will do this, but it saves them a lot of discomfort.
