Graduated!

Well, graduation is quite the celebration. My family was up Thursday in time for lunch, and then I did some packing while the non-graduating students decorated the Lodge and the Temple... then we had our last class of the quarter (last class for me!).Graduation Dinner was next... it was amazing. Polenta-encrusted tempeh with raspberry sauce, roasted & herbed new potatoes, wild rice pilaf, garlic & asparagus.The graduation ceremony was held in the Temple, with dessert served in the Lodge afterward. Chocolate ganache cake, lavender cake, and a chocolate covered fruit mandala. Finally, music... DJ in the Lodge, West African Drumming in the Temple, and Karaoke Revolution in a classroom. My grandma danced with us for a bit before turning in! Stayed up way too late, we didn't even want to drink the champagne my partner brought up...So, Friday we took my stuff down to SF. Our roommate cooked dinner for us, and we had the champagne then, with chocolate covered strawberries.Today we got a surprise call from three of my friends from school... they were on their way through SF, and we met up with them after dinner and had tea. So all in all it's been great since Thursday. Tomorrow I go to the PD to put in my Background Check form (eye roll) and to DiPietro to schedule a haircut. As soon as I look presentable again, I'm calling the spa I've been targeting for employment to request an interview.Wish me luck!
