Graduated.........now what???

Im waiting to hear from the Nationals on dates for taking the test, and meanwhile trying to stay busy doing massage in my home, meeting with my classmates for trades and ideas. Some of my classmates have found jobs.........and Im really feeling kinda anxious, like where will I fit in. One place in town that I really love working with an accupuncturist, I know the 2 therapists that are there already. So I talked with the Accu. this morning, she wants me to call back after my test. I know I shouldnt feel deflated, and whatever is meant to be will be for the best........

still I feel kinda scared and wondering where that right place is for me.

Just looking for thoughts........

Hey Shane!

You will do just fine on the NCE.......Don't sweat it, I am sure you are more than prepared for what they'll throw at ya. As far as your place in massage, the universe will allow you to go where you are needed most. I also want to work with an accupuncturist- I think accupuncture is so cool! I may even go to accupuncture school or aromatherapy school to become an aromatherapist. I love Reiki- I am Reiki II attuned, and will attain my Reiki Master/Teacher training within the next 2 months- I am so ready to become a Reiki Master! I use Reiki all the time, and feel so weird if I don't give myself some Reiki at least 2-3 times a day!
Congrats on completing the journey-the best is yet to come. Also remember to get massage often,trading with classmayes is great, especially sfter recieving massage 2 or more times a week-trust me, your body will miss it! Above all, have fun with the test, and pass it with flying colors!!!! Breathe!!! You will OK!

Thanks for your words of wisdom. I needed to hear that today! I think I let myself get in a panic...........when I was doing so well, just waiting, studying and reading my books.

First of all CONGRATULATIONS on graduating! That is an awesome accomplishment! As far as the rest, first things first - work on studying for the NCE...from what I read, the accu was wanting you to come back after you passed the test. So, it's not a closed door - it's a "not yet" door.

I just graduated in November and took my state board in December - we just got our results last week. So, I understand the feeling of what next. There were people in my class talking about where they wanted to work and what they were going to do - but I'm very much a person who looks at what is the next step before I think about the future. For me, getting a license was the next goal - now that I've reached that goal, I am praying about what next. But I'm taking this one day at a time - and I truly believe anything that lasts takes time - and anything worth something is worth waiting for...hang in there. Keep studying - keep the information fresh - and trust that your mind will retrieve what you need to know when you take the test!
