Gout, Massage and Novasonic Therapy

I have a client who suffers from gout and I just wanted to check whether the novasonic would be safe and beneficial to this condition or infact be a contraindication. My concern is that the uric acid crystals would break down and move to other parts of the body causing further pain or would they be broken down small enough to be reabsorbed by the body?

Normally to treat gout as a partial contraindication where pain is severe (at beginning of attack and bruising still occurs) to at the end of the attack light massage if patient requires.
