Check out my post today for Fuzhou under the General category. I just spent 2 days there and it's a really nice city with lots to do, plus some dynamite places for mongering. There are saunas all over the city, but I believe the one I reported on is the best.

All towns and cities have places.

They have a red lantern, or a red light bulb, or they have a red light inside that illuminates the front room. Look for the pink/red light inside, visible from the street.

Sometimes the plastics curtains (walkin freezer panel sheets) on the entrance are red.

Sometimes green.

These places are closed up in the day, double-green doors locked.

Can be as low as 100 rmb.

The big city jobs in Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai, etc. have been taken. I'm not spending a year anywhere unless there's some relief to be had. There are tons of other cities. Please tell me someone is living/working or has been and found action in some other provinces. Also, when getting in a taxi, or chatting with the guys, does anyone know how to allude to the subject subtlely?
