unfortunately, I will say no. this is BBS type of service, usually count as one shot or 45min (which goes first). unless the depression is really affect you, otherwise I will not suggest for that place.

Couple of things to add. 吉原3 gets really busy between 8-midnight and sometimes would require a wait. If you want to try it out, avoid that time frame. 790RMB (with VIP card that is only good for Jiyuan 3) is a bit steep but I have to say that you basically can't go wrong with the service no matter which girl you pick. They have about 90-100 girls there total although the line-up room only has room for about 20-25 at a time. Unfortunately I don't really have any girl recommendations at 吉原3 because I never bothered to remembered the numbers the few times I went there. I was just curious and I can get similiar service/selection at another sauna nearby which I'll talk about later.

The one thing you have to be aware is that 吉原3 gets frequent visits at night by the police simply because it IS so popular. When the police shows up at first floor, the alarm will go off and the girl will usher you out of the room to the backdoor exit. When this happens just don't panic as the police generally don't bother with the customers as they just want to pick on the lauma (mama-san if you will) and the manager but it's just another good reason to avoid the golden hours (8pm-12am). Oh and don't bother trying to ask the girls for cell #s or outcalls because they won't do it. The girls there make an average of 2000-3000 RMB a day so they have no reason to go out with customers unless you want to pay them more. 90% of them have a "husband" (nice word for pimp) at home that won't let them go out beyond working hours since they rely on these girls for income and is afraid of customers *stealing* the girls from them which happens quite a bit actually. All in all, avoid the hassle.

Nextly, regarding 神泉, there are a couple of things that needs to updated regarding what River have already said. They've changed their services somewhat within the last two months. Basically they added additional costumes and the "menu" setup much like 吉原3. This time of the year they have about 80-90 girls and yes, while they only bring about 6 girls at any given time, you can ask for another group if none catches your eye. There is another way however. Every night between 8pm-12am, after you've done the deed and is asked if you wanted to rest, say yes and you'll be brought to a bar area with a stair going up to 5th floor resting area. All the girls that currently aren't on the clock will be sitting there so you can have a look around to see which one you like for your next visit. Basically this is my favorite sauna since I've spent a year building up relations with the lauma(mama-san) and an old timer girl there. Here are a few personal favorites I am willing to share after looking over most of the girls there.

561 - 5'3". Face (9 out of 10). Very nice figure with C-cups. Services is average and she knows it. However since she's a looker and gets a ton of return customers (me included), I guess her average services can easily be forgived.
107 - 5'2". Face (8 out of 10). A bit on the skinny side with A-cups. Really good service and is very tight down below. She's also a screamer and gets really loud after a while if that's your thing.
578 - 5"4". Face (8 out of 10). Also a bit on the skinny side with b-cups. Services is pretty good with nice BJ techniques. She also takes her time which I like.

If you're interested in overnight (12am-12pm) and is staying at the hotel above, there are half a dozen girls available for that and you can call ahead to the mama-san to arrange a line-up. 578 is available for example.

Lastly, as it is with 吉原3, 神泉 gets police visits also just not as often. There's a game/gambling room next to the sauna so that's another reason why. One visit just happened this past saturday at about 1:15am which was easily solved with handing the police some money (which is usually the case). That's about it, have fun.

Newbie to this board - but have recently returned from an absolutely splendid week in Shanghai. Lots of "work" work but ample entertainment as well ie at least one per day.

Since I do not speak any Mandarin I expected that there would be a communication problem of sorts (it was actually never a real problem) - so anyone else travelling need not worry too much.

From my first look at the mpnet forum for Shanghai I see several posts askeing "where is the best action". I asked myself that same question before I went and was determined to learn the city map locating such places relative to my. hotel (Regal, Hengshan Lu. Good Hotel, Girl friendly). I did lots of internet research and found some very useful links

First of all hit the HOME button on this site and then click on Shanghai. The screen will then display a map of the city with pointers to many (but not all) of the clubs, bars, main hotels etc. Best seen in Map function rather than Sattelite.

You will very quickly pick out the areas where there is an obvious accumulation of pointers ie Tong Ren Lu etc

The really good bit about this map is that the road names are given in English

To get around in Shanghai it is cheap to use a taxi (11RMB flag fare will get you most places) BUT the driver will not speak English. ALWAYS pick up a taxi from outside one of the major hotels. You can do that even if you do not stay at that hotel. All I did was walk onto the hotel forecourt and ask the door guy for a taxi to ..... He would then call one for you. However, you DO need to be able to say or show where you want to get to. This is the other bonus of the Smartnamecard website.

If you click on the pointers on the map you are taken to a website for the place - usually with an option to print a "Taxi Card" ie a proper address written in Chinese script as well as English. You can show that to the door guy and to the taxi driver. Even if your target destination is not shown - pick one that is close by. You can then walk the rest of the way. I used to take a taxi to the Hilton or Equatorial Hotels and then go to teh sauna in the Shanghai Hotel a few minutes walk away.

they are right. those are almost lowest price but the price may have small range depends on lot reasons. following prive range will be consider as normal:
HJ: 50~70
BJ: 100~150
FS:150~200

Hey all, been reading for on and off mpnet for quite some time. Haven't really traveled abroad from the US in quite some time. I will be visiting Shanghai pretty soon, I am fluent in chinese, and could pass by as a local without any problems.

Where are some good places you guys would suggest? I am probably gonna be close tot he hongqiao area. I don't mind traveling a little bit for good action
