Galbunam

Hi all
ages ago I bought Galbunam oil but can't for the life of me remember why!!! I find the smell absolutely disgusting!!
So, do any of you use it and if so why!! And what do you blend it with to make it less like the smell of washing that has been left in the machine a few days!

I suspect that if you bought it ages ago then it's gone off, hence the smell, so I wouldn't use it. Not one I use anyway, so can't help 'diagnose' the aroma (stink?) but essential oils should be kept in a cool dark place and do have a limited life, especially the citrus ones (6 months)

Thanks for the link Jo, a lovely site. Amanda, I bought it a couple of months ago - its the memory that is old not the oil!!!! It smelt that bad when i first got it and hasn't improved since! Jo's site said that the smell creeps up on you so I am going to brave it and put it in the burner now and see what happens. I don't have any clients today and its wet and miserable and the dogs smell damp so it will be the least offensive time to try it! Lets hope it surprises me, but I suspect it will be in the bin by this afternoon!! Unless anyone wants it?

i know that people use this funny smelling stuff for various things from applying to sore muscles, treating acne, rubbing on stomach to help indigestion and on the forehead to help relieve headaches. it also helps with coughs, cramps and cuts. i'm sure there were more but cant remember of the top of my head.

funny smell, but seems to be a bit of an all-rounder!
