Well, I'm not a massage therapist but I cut my nails short for piano and guitar...
Its nice that your fingernails give a boost to your self-esteem, and I'm sure you know people who don't have long nails (female people obviously). Do they seem any less feminine?
You kinda get used to it, like, not being long. When I cut mine for piano, it was sort of frustrating, cause its kind of easier to make them shiny when they're long.
AND, no nails make life so much easier in small ways. I can type way better, play like, the piano well (doh), and its easier to eat my chips. Mine used to be pretty long though, don't know how long yours are.
Your situation can actually be summed up simply:
Massage School or Long Nails?
Anyway, I'm rambling and digress-ing, so what I really want to get across is:
HAVING NO NAILS HAS NOT DAMAGED MY FEELING OF FEMINITY AND HAS SOMEWHAT IMPROVED MY HAND COORDINATION ;-)
