Just finished my first A & P class... pulled out an "A" at the last minute, with nice extra credit questions on the final exams.

Next up... Human Anatomy in the Fall Term.

I think, just the two.

Adding up the lecture and lab hours for the two 4 semester credit classes puts me over 100 "contact" hours of A & P.

Great job! So what parts interested you, bored you, stumped you, opened up a new can of worms for you?

I loved physiology but got bored with some anatomy aspects. (Memorizations and such.)

How will the Human Anatomy class differ from the Anatomy you just took?

I'm currently taking this course and using that book. Do you mind sharing some of your techniques about getting through the course? I am having a REALLY hard time. Its a lecture only course, there is no lab and I am having trouble remembering anything. What helped you get through it?

I found it easier to learn if i could look at it then try and sort out in my mind what each bit does and how it interacts with the other bits. It does help if you can find it fascinating how the body works. After lessons would look to see how the interaction of the systems or organ muscles related to what i had been taught.

Hi -

I know what you mean. I just took A&P I and pulled an A too.

It sort of helped at the time because I was in K&P II and when we got to the bones and muscles, that we were doing some of the similar muscles (pelvis, thigh and leg) and had to know them.

And, I've got to go back to my homework now...
