Energy in the end
I've had something along the lines of a chronic fatigue situation for a number of years. After a day of work, I simply could barely get up the stairs to get home. I would look at an insurmountable mountain and know that if I could just get up (albeit slowly) I would be done for the day. I took as few people as I could when I was feeling really bad and as many as I could when I was feeling fair. Unfortunately, with no way to take off work, but needing to pay the bills, I kept plugging away until about 6 years later (now) where it seems to be dissipating. My personal opinion is that I was able to let my body go through whatever it was and now I am on the healing end.
Because of this, I've been supplementing for a number of years now, with some immune blasts to boot, which has certainly helped. But, it still takes time (years).
Is your sleep good? If not, working to get enough sleep will make a huge difference.
Do you worry a lot? Worry can drag you down and leave lasting problems that take a long time to rectify.
Sometimes the body just goes through cycles. Sometimes it takes a number of years to get out of a "funk". That's an energy thing, I believe.
But, for your question:
Anybody have any tips on how they "pump themselves up" after a session before a client leaves the treatment room even when you might feel tired?
When I have had to suck it up... I just do. I can't explain it any better than that. I have told myself, "get it together" and "be happy until the client gets out the door". It's a state of mind. Hard, but it can work. Make sure and give yourself plenty of time between clients when you are in a situation like this.
Get some rest... it's important. There is a light at the end of the tunnel.
Good luck!
