Does Thai Massage feel intrusive?

Ive been reading about it and realized that some of the movements would be extremely difficult to pull off on complete strangers.

Anyone have any experiences about this and how to actually get/do thai massage without feeling like youve been somehow 'violated'? Thanks

I never had Thai massage! I am now intrigued. Although I cannot imagine going to one. However, massage itself the art of touch and healing should not feel uncomfortable in any case. I think we are inhibited in many ways and we feel intrusive since we feel like the other body is someone else's. I reality our bodies are all connected within the Universe. In order to truly heal we have to connect to the body and get to the source in order to heal.

out of all the massages I've had done or done on others, I don't think thai massage is intrusive at all. first off, it's done fully clothed. The only reason it would be difficult to pull off on strangers is if they won't relax and let you do what needs to be done. Anytime I do a massage I ask the client to tell me if something is uncomfortable. if it is, I stop. I always let the client know their body is their property and if they don't like it, stop it!! but I love thai massage, the stretching is soooooo nice.
