We just learned our first sample technique for posterior leg and foot. I am now looking forward to lots of practice with various friends and family who have kindly offered to let me practice on them. Some of the people I will be practicing on I don't really know that well, as in, the spouse of a neighbor.
So, do you tell them about the glute massage before beginning? Some people are really not knowledgeable about what Swedish massage entails. I don't want to make a big deal out of it, but I would hate for anyone to feel uncomfortable.
I suppose I could just quickly explain what areas I will be working on and ask them if they would prefer I skip some areas ... but really like I said I also don't want to make that part like *stick out* by mentioning either.. I dunno.
What do you all think?
