Hi there

I'm qualified to do swedish massage and ihm, not done it for a while but feel I'd like to get back into it as I did enjoy it.

I've been thinking of expanding my knowledge of massage and want to understand what the different types of massage are for, some are obvious of course such as sports injury, but what would advanced massage provide me knowledge of, and why would you use it. If anyone can also explain the other types available would really appreciate it.

sports massage= preparation for, maintenance during, recovery from sports.
remedial massage= to improve specific injuries or chronic conditions
clinical massage= for maintenance or improvement from disease symptoms,
myofascial release= either direct or indirect methods to improve chronic postural dysfunction and improve bodily functions, reduce pain.
