Hi everyone
I am doing the swedish Body Massage course Level 3. Is this particular massage for relaxation only?
The reason I ask is that there doesn't seem to be any real deep tissue movements in the routine that the college is teaching me. Yes there is hacking and cupping, but not a lot of wringing, no pickups, knuckling, bounding or skin rolling like I have read about in most books. Maybe this belongs to a different type of massage or can it be used in Swedish Massage too?
Some of my case studies have asked for a more deeper massage rather than the relaxation one....any ideas what I can do?
