De-stressing through massage?

For like a spa day sort of place which is better or more comfortable in getting a massage? Which gender do you feel more relaxed with? I am a woman and this will be a regular massage but I have never had one. I want to enjoy it in the sense it releases all my tension/stress but am not sure of what to expect.

Which would you feel more comfortable with or have if you have had one done? Emphasize this is in no way sexual.
I know the massages I give my husband are always ending up as suck. Still I am a mom and a wife and I want to de-stress , that is it. But I am not big on a woman touching me all over either NOR do I want to put myself into a position it feels awkward either way.

So I asked mainly from a woman's perspective if any see this and can answer. So Steve get your head out of the gutter.

First being massaged is great. But it's also where people kid themselves, Your a woman, your full of crap if you say you wouldn't rather a guys hands all over you, and a massage is always a little sexual. Thats just the reality of it. Also a REAL massage can hurt, the light ones are great but to actually work out the muscles and relieve the stress the gotta really work ya. Not to the extent as say a deep tissue massage but still hurts a little. I don't know about day spa's cuz I'm a dude but if you have Massage Envy in your area they have deals you can't beat. Good Luck
