How many of you on this board made 23K in 2 and a half months? And Lisa also admits to over 200K in the last 18 months. And she has no savings at all?? She’s 55, presumably no young kids. Article says car broke down and needed money to fix. That means older car with no monthly payments. So where did all her money go? I feel bad for the young girls with kids, student loan and car payments, real living expenses, who work in the spas that are now closed and who are following the rules and not working at all. But it’s hard to feel bad for Lisa. 30 years in the game and no savings? Many of us on this board have mortgages, kids etc and are suffering too. Hard to have sympathy for this woman. I had to lay off 70% of my workforce and forego my salary so my company can weather. This crisis. Times are tough for all of us. There are a lot of sex workers the paper could have profiled who actually have sympathetic stories. Not sure why they chose this one.

A really tragic story here. Having said that the financial mismanagement is a huge contributor to her dilemma. Why did she not share an apartment with another SP or better still have a residence where she could both live and work? Both of these would have been at a big savings to the cost of a hotel every day. Also Moxie's is not the cheapest place to eat every day. There are far more economical and equally nutritious choices available.

Not gonna judge her situation, but as I recall, the Star are SWEFs who support C-36 so they likely ran that one either more to say "do you see how women are having to debase themselves in this crisis" or out of sheer laziness, as opposed to any real concern about SW welfare.
