Confused about Calgary public transit?

I'm going to be going to SAIT Polytechnic starting tomorrow, and since I can't afford the parking pass, I'm forced to take public transit. But my bus route is never the same every day... It's so confusing to memorize ALL the routes and stops and transfers! UGH!

So if I miss my bus, will I have to wait an hour before another one comes? Buses don't come every 10 minutes or so? Is it REALLY necessary to get off on all these different stops for my transfer every day? Why can't they ALL be 7ave and 7st?

Just really overwhelmed. Maybe someone can shed some light here...
