Colors more intense after session?

A new client reported that the colors in the room were more intense (in a good way) after her session. I'm curious to know if anyone here has experienced or heard of that before?

I had a classmate that did a cranial and shiatsu session on me. Whenever she worked on me I saw color when my eyes were closed. It was kind of like a crazy beautiful light show.

Certainly used to clients hallucinating on the table ;-) Especially with cranial work. This was different though.

I regularly have people who talk about feeling like they can see better, breathe better and the "blood in their head" (their terminology, not mine) is flowing better. Most of these clients are the ones I am doing a lot of neck work on. Was the session a lot of upper body/head/neck work?

No actually... mostly foot and hip.

I don't know - there are clearly physical AND energetic reasons for sight to be clearer.

Physical would include improved blood and lymphatic circulation. And if client was in pain or discomfort and that was relieved they would not be so focused on THAT any longer and would be more aware of their outer environment.

When I have done any form of energy work, healing, clearing or processing I often find that my vision is different.
The world looks different, or maybe it's just with less worry I can SEE more clearly.
Who knows?
I think that what the client says is valid - just don't have a good explanation for it

I originally wrote it off as I'd been lying on a table with my eyes closed, but I see color on the table eyes open or closed.

Does anyone get this as a practitioner (asks the student who sees color if I'm with the client's breath)?

Yes. I saw color when on the MT table receiving a massage as a student when my eyes were closed. Then for a period of time I did not see it.

Then in the last few years it's came back... and I often see it (when I work with my eyes closed) so as to feel better what is under my hands. I do not see it with everybody. And I have noted that it most often happens for me when I am working with a client who is in massage & bodywork or another healing profession. Since as the practitioner I don't see it with everybody, I always feel good when I do.

I see colors when I am working (better when my eyes are closed). Especially if I am working an are where Qi is stuck.

I have felt that my vision, especially in the vibrancy of colors, was improved after a massage.

I just took a class over the weekend, and my teacher said that seeing brighter colors after massage has something to do with optic nerve.
