Cold Clients

Hi,

I am currently at college doing the ITEC A&P with Holistic Massage.
I am half way through my case studies and one of them is always cold through out the treatment however high I have the radiator on and portable heater.
Any ideas how to keep clients comfortable through-out the treatment.

I always have my treatment room at lease 70 degrees and I warm a bath super sheet towel to cover them with, it works for me

I would keep at least 26 Celsius (80 fahrenheit). And a towel covering the feet at all times when not massaged, number one "freezing part"

You can put a blanket over the towels too, and warm the couch up with a hot water bottle before they arrive.

I have an oil filled radiator in the room to warm towels on. That way I can keep extra towels on the client and the radiator andkeep replacing them as they cool down on the client. I've had this done to me during treatments and it feels very luxurious and warming.

I put the massage oil in a small bottle which I carry in my front jeans pocket (I usually wear plain black jeans) almost right next to my skin. This keeps the oil warmed throughout.

I have the room at 26*C+ using cental heating + convector heater
+ I always have my towels warmed ready for cliemt's arrival
(I've known a masseuese who used an electric blanket on her couch but I've never fancied that idea as I feel it could upset the magnetic fields etc like living under a power line)

I purchased a small heat blanket from Argos around £19.99 and put this under the towels everyone love it
