I find this to be interesting; especially about the fact that it is designed as a private club and therefore not under the same restrictions as a normal massage parlour.

Maybe someone will see this and set one up in Calgary.

well - now that i got laid off i have a lot of time to review good ideas lol

a friend of mine in ottawa told me about this a few months ago - i just thought it was another strip club - clearly i was mistaken -

does anyone know the specifics of the rules about private clubs for this kind of stuff here - or am i off to research land - i have about 2 months free before i have to find a real job as a designer again - so more importantly ... when can we start?

Ottawa is awesome... even in the strip clubs you can touch during lap dances.

Now on the "Private Club function".

I believe it to be similar to the club mentioned above here in Calgary, where this biggest pain-us in the an-us tends to be is permits as it pertains to zoning, etc... I am not aware of any by-laws that hinder private clubs otherwise.

CMJ came to be last winter when their rub and tug was forced to close due to a change in the bylaw. It is just a cover for a rub and tug...they found a loop hole to work for them.
