Clients who want to become therapists

I've massaged a few people who have told me that they would love to train to become massage therapists. I give them a bit of info about how to go about it but I always doubt that they will actually do it. I guess for a client our jobs may appear easy and stress free.

When I worked at a very busy Covent Garden spa clients would often say - you must be so relaxed at the end of the day working here - if only they knew.

Have any of your clients trained to become massage therapists?

When i was training in Swedish Body Massage, i had a case study who loved the treatment so much that she trained at the same college the following year. I also saw her as an Aromatherapy case study too.

From April 2006 I started receiving Reiki, Indian head massage, Hopi ear candles and Swedish remedial massage.

I'm now a Reiki practitioner, qualified to do natural facials last week and part way doing Indian head case studies.

My life is certainly a lot less stressful now than it was before but then I've not got any clients at the moment . I was looking for a different career and finally after many years I believe I've found it

I had been a massage client for several years before I became a massage therapist: and I think that having experienced massage from different therapists definitely helped me in my own training!!
