Jan,
Having worked with a few people with MS and other neurological diseases, I have seen remarkable improvements. I use Young Living essential oils using both vitaflex (similar to reflexology) and raindrop technique.
For more information on these techniques visit: [link=http://www.younglivingoils.co.uk/Essential_Oils_Application.html]www.younglivingoils.co.uk/Essential_Oils_Application.html[/link]
Immediately following the massage, the client has always seen improvements in many areas, including spinal and hip realignment, (some have had perfect alignment after the first session, others have seen profound improvement).
Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Multiple Sclerosis is a progressive, disabling disease of the nervous system (brain and spinal cord) in which inflammation occurs in the central nervous system. Eventually, the myelin sheaths protecting the nerves are destroyed, resulting in a slowing or blocking of nerve transmission.
MS is an autoimmune disease, in which the body's own immune system attacks the nerves. Some researchers believe that MS is triggered by a virus, while others make a case that it has a strong genetic or environmental component.

Maintaining MS Status Quo
One of the simplest ways to keep MS symptoms from becoming more severe is to keep the body cool and avoiding any locations or physical activities which heat the body (including hot showers or exercise). Cold baths and relaxed swimming are two of the best activities for relieving symptoms.
Applying heat is the worst thing to do for MS. If an MS patient is experiencing increasingly severe symptoms, lower their body temperature (by up to 3 degrees F) by laying them on a table, covering them with a sheet, ice, shower curtain, and blankets (in that order). Work the feet with oils and watch for benefits.
