Hello,

Can anyone advise whether IVF is a contra indication to massage? We did not cover this on my cousre and is is not in my book.My instinct is that it is a contra indication(body has enough to deal with already etc.) but obviously this is a stressful period for the client and massagemight help.
Ideas anyone?

Women that I have treated who are going through this have been told by their consultants to avoid bodywork once the hormone injections have started, and if transplantation is successful, then no work during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.
One of my IVF ladies gave birth to 'Poppy' on Friday - after 6 attempts.
