Chair Flow

Does anyone have a standard flow they use for chair massage?  We were given one evening of chair instruction and have to do a hands-on with the instuctor.  We have to present our flow to her at the time of testing.  Thanks!

I use a Japanese Acupressure routine -- L shoulder(scapula -upper trap), arm, forarm, hand, -R shoulder, arm, forarm, hand, -L back, -R back, Hips, brushdown, neck, scalp, upper traps, arms, pec stretches, shoulder lift and brush, and a back percussion sequence. Hope that helps. If not make up your own, keep it semetrical and an easy flow -- practice, practice, practice... go over it in your head, learn all the parts and put it together and  practice, practice,...You'll do fine  the instructors are there to HELP you learn. Let us know how well you did

I don't have a specific flow, but a general one.  Everything is dependent on what the client complains of.  Neck problems - more time on the neck.  Traps tight - more time on the traps.  Low back pain - I grab a chair and spend more time on the LB.Along with this my general flow is: bilateral traps; one at a time; into the rhomboids; both hands knuckles into the paraspinals all the way from upper to lower back; back up into the rhomboids and traps again; neck work; into one arm and hand; back up to trap; over to other trap; into other arm and hand; back into traps and then finish off with some light swirling fingertip movements over the bilateral shoulder blades.Hope that helps.I work on people at a bank currently, so I can't work on their heads.... bad hair = customers looking at them like they are from another planet!

Too avoid messing up hair without having to completely eliminate the head I use at Tingler.

I too do a routine but add time in other places when needed.

I start with palm presses to each side.  Left then Right.  Then thumb presses from lumbar to shoulders.  Work shoulders and neck.  Use Tingler on head then back to shoulders and transition to arms and hands.  Back to shoulders, thumbs down back and hip palm circles.  Finishing off with feathering to back and tapotment to all areas worked.
