Hey folks!

I am thinking about going back to school to learn massage therapy. I am 36 and I hate my career and want something more rewarding! I can learn this over time and start doing this part-time and maybe someday even full-time.

Can anyone offer any advice because I live in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. I cannot find any schools close to me besides Akron! ??? No school near Cincy teaches this? Why???

This really surprises me!

I live in the UK and am 28, I too am disillusioned with my current job and I am nearing completion of my Swedish Massage evening course. I have loved every minute of it and have just applied to university for 2006 to do a BSc Hons in Complementary Therapy.

This is something I truly want to do and the best thing to do would be to check out colleges and maybe see if there are night schools that offer such courses. Our local Adult Education (Night Schools) offer lots of therapy courses, and even do some that the colleges don't offer.
