Hello there,

I would love to hearfrom massage therapists who haveworked with clients with cancer. Or from anyone who has worked within a hospice environment.

I practise therapeutic massage and amabout to start a voluntary position working in the in-patients ward of a hospice. I will be giving light hand and foot massage and perhaps face in the evenings.

I wouldlike tohearwhatothershave experienced and their thoughts on it... results, benefits, personal challenges.

I am considering a post-grad. course with Middlesex School of Complementary Health 'Massage for Cancer Care'. Has anyone done this course? or could anyone recommend a similar course elsewhere? I'm inScotland butprepared totravel, this is the only course I could find so far.

I haven't done their cancer course, but have done many of their other advanced courses and can recommend them.

However, you might want to try the Christie Hospital in Manchester as they run several courses, including massage for cancer/palliative care.
