can pregnancy massages help move along ur labor when u are 38+5 weeks along?

so i had my membranes stripped on thursday morning and until yesterday didnt feel a thing. now since last night i have been contracting every 8 to 10 mins but they arent getting closer, they r very painful and i just want to be done and to hold my baby.has anyone done this and it sent them closer to there laboring being done? any answers would help
i am walking alot lol all over the neighborhood lol.today after my massage im gonna walk around our huge mall so maybe that will work. my husband wont do the sex thing unfortunatly. thx for ur answers girls

Nothing will bring you closer...just be patient.Well I tried nipple stimulation and I gave birth about a week after.Try intercourse.You're almost there.

i so know how you feel..i have 3 days left and i am getting so impatient. but our babies will come when they are ready. I can't do the membrane stripping b/c of the group b strep, but ive tried the walking, sex, eating stuff and drinking stuff...i guess it only works for someppl, so even tho we can't wait to see our gorgous lil babies, we just have to try and be patient and wait for them to come on their own time.
i try and think of it like this, we waited 9 months, whats a few more days lol...

good luck, and i hear after membrane stripping it doesn't take long, so you should have that baby anyday now...just hang in there!!

look up pregnancy massage and it will show you pressure points in your ankles and hands etc, and they do increase contractions once already started, even if you are just having braxton hicks.

as much as you probably dont feel likr sex right now it may do the trick, the semen has a chemical that will help labour along, it softens the cervix and alows it to open, good luck, if you get worried though give your midwife a call its what shes there for remember.
