Buying oils from ebay . . .

Has anyone done this?

There are an ebay shop called Zamya who say they are a member of the aromatherapy trading council, and whose oils, especially their absolutes, are really reasonable.

What do you guys think? Too good to be true?

You could always check them out to see if they really are a member of the ATC.

I was going to post you a reply to one of your other posts about rose otto. I would say buy essential oils from anyone registered with the ATC as they will be fine - they have high standards for their oils.
I had a look and although I've not heard of this particular company they are registered with the ATC. I tend to get mine from essentially oils in Oxford.
In terms of Rose otto vs absolute - they do smell really quite different and I prefer the pure rose otto myself. I have a friend who uses the absolute for all her clients though so I think its personal preference and personal pennies!

Thats great, thank-you both of you. I am quite excited because their oils really are quite cheap - check them out! I can feel a shopping spree coming on!

Delores, I think I will probably prefer rose otto too from what I have read, because it apparently is truer to the flower. And I tend to have expensive tastes! Not really a good thing! Is there actually a shop called essentially oils in Oxford or do they have a website? I live near Oxford, so that sounds like it could be a good thing to know!
