I recently took a course on hot stone massage, it's not something I would want to do frequently, as I sweat pretty heavily. But aside from that, I am really happy I am getting my certification in it. During my practice sessions as well as the treatment I got for myself I found that without much effort you can get into the muscle tissue, and it is less painful for a client than say, a deep tissue. So for my clients with chronic pain issues that can't handle more than a moderate pressure this type of treatment works wonders for them.
