Bach flower remedies and aromatherapy?

Bach flower remedies are best because they are safest, so what would be the best for my horse?

He's a 14.1hh Cobx, and in the Summer he got out of my grips when he saw a canal boat and bolted home (about 2 miles). This terrified him, and he went on a very slow but downhill spiral. Then his best mate died about two months ago, so now he has started napping, and will literally not move when I try and ride him. His tack fits, and all if fine physical, but I want to help my boy.

He's 14 years old, and he'll be quite spooky at times also. He'll either gallop for a few paces and then stop, or he'll freeze. He never used to be like this - I'd literally put my Nan on him!


So any recommendations on what Bach flower remedies would be best for him please? Thanks a lot =)

you should check if he has sore back or teeth in any way.....maybe try getting him a new campagian would work....try hacking on him just walking with a friend in scenic areas then work up on horsemanship get to understand your horse try teaching him tricks he will trust in you more.

I'm not sure your horse need Bach flowers at all.

If he is terrified of boats then you need to take him to the canal every day that you can and have him watch the boats until be becomes desensitized to them and it is no longer scary for him.

If he is living alone now, he is probably very stressed as horses are herd animals. They literally need company to stay sane. He probably needs a buddy or two to keep him company.

If he is suddenly spooky, then there may be something wrong with his eyesight that is making normal things looks scary to him.

I don't think flower extracts will help any of that.
