Attitude at Atlantis

This is not a specific review of any girls there since I haven't seen anyone yet, but more of an issue with attitude and service. The last 2 times I have been in this MP, I have been turned off by the attitude. I find they are very pushy to get you in a room, take your money and who cares if you are happy. Even last night, I went there and there was one asian girl availabe, the rest were busy.. I did not find her very attractive and not worth the .5 she quoted me on top of the room rate. And that is another thing - she says that is the going rate now for the younger girls! Isn't that getting a bit steep for a MP?

I left as I didn't think it was worth it. I tried to ask her a few questions about service and she was very standoffish and rude and said I can't answer those questions.

I've heard others comment on the board about the attitude here. Anything that can be done about it other than boycott the place?

Anyhow, just wanted to voice my 2 cents as I think this place has good potential if customer service was more of a priority.

I've been there recently and was not impressed with the lineup consisting
of 2 older ladies, one being the owner. Pushy, yes. They wanted me to pay
up front and put me in the room without seeing the ladies. Attitude, well I decided not to stay long enough and sample the service inorder to rate any kind of attitude. Maybe for the best since you did not have a good time. That's why I sometimes prefer to stick to indies and micros.

Pushy is not good. However, a lot of the time, massage parlours get tire-kickers, guys who only want to look at the girls, say they don't like any of them and then go home to fulfill (??) their fantasies alone with the memory of what they just saw. Then there are the guys without money but just want to look. Girls don't like being eye-candy for trolls. So the store manager may ask for the room fee up front, show the customer to a room and call the line-up to introduce themselves. This cuts down on meaningless traffic. Of course, it should never be pushy and the customer should always be aware that, if he doesn't like the girls or for whatever reason which need not be shared, he can leave with his money cheerfully refunded. It may be just a communication problem at Atlantis.

Thats why I am out of pooning In North America for a long while, as I am saving up for my next trip to Bangkok. Just 4 FS in Van is a ticket to Bangkok. The hell with this.

And then there are others who call in to to listen to a girl's voice while they jack off in the background. And what about those who go into the room with the girl, and are bold enough to ask her to take her clothes off before they reveal they haven't got any money? There are also jerks who convince the girl they do have money, and they will take good care of the girl, only to run out at the end of a session without paying, or leaving a worthless watch as security never to return.

Yeah, there are some major scumbags out there, so the extra prudence on the part of the establishment is just a direct consequence of them.

8 out of 10 times, I have paid AFTER. The ones that do ask for money first have provided just as good FS as the ones that dont ask for $ first.

Yes, these girls get a lot of guys who just want to look, but then we can't forget that we're the paying customers. Heck, Atlantis already forgets that we're the paying customers, no need for us to forget that we are the ones who slaved over the 9-5 jobs for the cash.

If kicking tires is such a problem how do explain Bangkok's fishbowls?

I have been to maybe 5 to 6 there and no one charges you to look, stare, get up close.

They will invite you to sit, have a drink, and you get all the time you need. You even negotiate the prices not with the girl but with the boss.

I think the reason is supply and demand there. There is way more supply than demand in Bangkok. The first fishbowl I went to I was uncomfortable because of all the eyeballs on me.

I miss what you are trying to say, Tongue. There is a difference between gawkers who go home to wank and good paying customers. Why should a paying customer mind the MP separating the good guys (you and me and eforum.xxxites) from these preying gawkers? Now, like hard_pressed says, it should absolutely be done in a polite and friendly manner. No need to offend the good guys.

calgary23 likes the Bangkok setting - who can blame him? But this is Canada and so much is different here. He's lucky and can travel around. Most of us won't be going to Thailand any time soon and are pooners here in Vancouver. This board's reviews help us make better choices for our money.

This has most likely been mentioned in other threads concerning Bangkok but I will state my opinion.

If you guys are going there to see a exotic, nice, city forget about it totally.

You will be sweating from the heat night and day, blown away by the pollution and might find the city one of the ugliest you have ever seen. I think its a hellhole of a place to live.

Ok, all that aside if you spend you hard earned dollars going there, be prepared to know outside of cheap sex and lots of red light districts Bangkok has little to offer.

I have only been to 2 other Asian cities Hong Kong and Canton, China and those 2 offer a great foreign experience and culture, 2 things BK IMHO is void of. It is not a properous city, the only thing not overrated about BK is the fun for men.

In fact for my next trip there I am already worried about the boredom during the day, I aint go jack shit to see or do so I will most likely just spend about 8 to 9 days there.

Please keep in mind this is only about BK, not the rest of Thailand which I know nothing about.

A plus is the trip will give me killer frequent flyer miles so I will get a free flight to anyway Northwest flies in us and canada,

Bangkok, Pattaya, and some would even say Phuket..are all just sleazy cities, operated on sex tourism. I wouldn't call Thailand 3rd world, but ofcourse they aren't 1st world ;-)

I must agree, Bangkok is a dirty, dirty place..the pollution is overwhelming.

Thailand is a grand place, and has so much to offer..just get out of Bangkok/Pattaya/Phuket and you will see what you have been missing

I've gone to Atlantis twice.. The first time I ran into the pushiness and a bad lineup, and went right back out. Had a session with Lucy the second time (posted a review in this forum also)

Can't say that I have anything to complain about, really. She was fair/professional and didn't rush me at all. You could try talking to her and see if she will do anything about it? But it's probably not worth the effort..

I don't know about boycotting Atlantis, really. To be honest I probably won't go back with their current selection of SP's, but the rooms are well-maintained as far as I can tell, which is more than some other places can manage..

in fact, i once negotiated a 1/2hr massage + FS for 1.3, room fee incl.

I've been to Atlantis twice, and had different experiences. Both times I was led to the room by Lucy, and given no choice of provider.

First time, about a month ago, I saw Amy, and she was great--pretty much exactly as described in another thread here. A good thorough massage, and an exciting main event with standing doggie and then cowgirl. Lots of touch and hugs at the end. I even tipped extra for the good service.

Last time, about a week ago, I saw Lily and she was quite disappointing. Nowhere near the good looks or personality of Amy, bad massage technique, only HJ available (TTOTM, I think)--asking a brown for it (!), and she tops it off with a sad story about not liking the job and having to support her family.

All in all, having heard that Amy is back at Prosper, I might just forgo Atlantis from now on. Unless I can get a session with Lucy...

I had my first experience at Atlantis last month with the one and only Lucy. She was very professional and courteous and very accomodating. I did not find her too aggressive or pushy. She always tried to do whatever I requested.

The only thing I was pleasantly surprised with was when she started to go down on me she did her normal BLS until I was at full attention. Then she did a brief BBBJ for about a minute until she put a cover on for the rest of the CBJ. Now, YMMV on this one but I really think she enjoyed this as much as I did. She also has the biggest nipples I have ever seen on an Oriental woman, they must have been almost an inch in length and thick too!

Tried every position in the book and finally came with a hard pounding, doggy style. After, the main event she was very business like and professional in cleaning up the place and preparing the room for the next encounter. Hmmm...obviously you have never seen the REAL Thailand or the real Bangkok. Anyone who spends their whole time in the Sukhumvit area sitting in Farang bars and hanging around with bargirls. No wonder you got that impression. Then there is the Bangkok with incredible food and culture. You can eat at a different exquisite restaurant every day for a year and never eat at the same place twice. Any type of food from anywhere in the world for a fraction of the cost it is here. Of course there is the incredible Thai food. What about the Chattachuk market at the end of the skytrain line?! The temples in the backpacker area. Bangkok is FAR from boring. Then of course there is the rest of Thailand which I won't bore you with. I doubt you would be interested in that either.
