At last!

Hi all,

Haven't been around for a while, but here goes: Finally I'm going to learn Indian Head Massage! It's so exciting! All arrangements have been made and by the last weekend in October: London - and Sue Bailey's Gateway Workshop - here we come! Yes, it had to be London; these courses don't run in Sweden, at least not in Gothenburg where I am. And yes, WE. I've talked hubby into learning this too. I said "this is good for our relation; we can massage each other". He bought it!

You might remember my interest in this started in early spring this year when I bought a tutorial dvd. Since then I've felt I didn't get anywhere and thought a proper course with real people would be much better.
As so many of you have said, IHM goes beautifully together with Reiki. This is one of the reasons why I want to learn this. Many people around me are suspicious about Reiki. They don't see me doing anything tangible except putting my hands on them and so they don't really believe it works ("Seems too New Agey"). I realised this when I treated my dad some time ago. "Is this it? Nothing more tangible?". An IHM massage is tangible and equally soothing. The combination will be perfect (I hope!)

Also, I see this as a long term investment. Noone knows what the future may bring and ten years from now I will retire from my admin job (if they don't kick me out earlier). It will be good to have some cards up the sleeve then.

That's great news! I'm sure you will not regret it one bit.

I have found IHM to be the most rewarding of therapies and I find it works in perfect harmony with Reiki.

I hope you have a good time learning it and being in London.
