Aromatherapy facials

Hi folks

I've got myself a little confused as to what exactly goes into an aromatherapy facial: the routine (do I mask before exfoliate or vice versa?), what products are used when... I'm OK with the oils and massage, but I think I've managed to mess my head up with too much reading on this!

I think I need to get back to what works in practice. So what do you do when you give an aromatherapy facial?

Hi Chris,
Cleanse the eyes with eye makeup remover(be careful not to drag around the eye), double cleanse the face and not forgetting the lips with facial cleanser.....tone(rose water,lavender etc...... exfoilate......mask(if making mask up to skin type can also add e/o 1 drop) massage (can add e/o 1 drop) tone(blot with tissue)......apply eye cream and moisturize. You can also steam or use hot towels within a facial aswell.

Hiya. Here is a quick version of the way we are taught to do it .

remove eye/lips make-up
superficial cleanse
analyze skin
deep cleanse
tone/blot

exfoliate/remove
steam/tone/blot

massage
remove/tone/blot
mask
remove
moisturizing cream.
