Aromatherapy Facial Course - Worth Doing

Hi

I was wondering whether it is worth doing a one day aromatherapy facial course. I am also thinking of attending a Deep Tissue Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Hopi Ear Candling course.

Could you let me know if poss, whether you get clients asking for these treatments and if so which ones are the most popular.

I did train in aromatherapy facials, but found it a bit of a faff making all the various cleansers, toners and moisturisers for the various skin types.

I am trained in Hopi Ear Candling and it's not as popular as it was when I first started (or maybe therer are just more people doing it), but I do have a few regulars.

As for MLD, I don't do it myself but know people who do. I work for a cancer charity and we have a couple of people who do it and they are always busy. I often refer my cancer clients with lymphodema to them.

I do the MLD and I have quite a few regular clients for it, they have it for a variety of ailments which we are monitoring closely and the doctors are aware they are having it which is good.

Hopi I find comes and goes, i have regulars for hopi with long term problems but i find it one that goes down well at the mind body spirit events.

As for the aromatherapy facials, i am qualified in aromatherapy and also facials so what does the course offer that regular facials training doesnt? What products will you be using and do you need to be a qualified aromatherapist first?

It all depends on the whats in the news at the time, whats been in magazines, on tv, your prices, local competition, and how you advertise your therapies as to how many clients you will get..... pick something you will enjoy doing. good luck x
