Aroma protocols for the health care sector

Hello,
Just trying to finish of Aromatherapy home work and i cant seem to find much about the following?

How can Aromatherapy treatments be delivered in the health care sector and what are the correct protocols?

I would be truly grateful for any help.

Blimey, sounds like the course has changed somewhat since it was there. Didn't have anything like that for homework when i was there.

Ive just finsished my crystals course.....going on to do colour after half term.....im trying to get my head round stress management and all those case studies

How are you finding things (work wise?) Im hoping to make a go of things this year.....

Hello All,
This is what ive found through my research; Some doctor's surgeries and hospitals either employ aromatherapists or will refer clients/patients to them.. The therapist needs to keep the GP (or other health professional)informed as to what treatment is being carried out and how the client is progressing.
Also there is lots about the protocols on the :National Occupational Standards for Aromatherapy...http://www.aromatherapycouncil.co.uk/

Thanks very much for this. Like you, I'd been wondering about these protocols but I was just curios, I haven't been asked to find out about them for a course! Very interesting and very useful.
