I have agreed to share a stall with my friend at a Holistic fair in October. I have never done anything like this before, but it seems a good way of getting my leaflets out there...

I want to do a treatments lasting about 15 mins, but not sure what to do, I thought about a head/face massage but not sure how people would feel about having an 'oily' face or hair afterwards?..and it would have to be a treatment where they keep their clothes on....

Any ideas would be welcome. I was thinking of charging £5.00 per treatment.

Hand massage is about the easiest thing to do. Or you can do simple consultations and make up hand creams or bath oils for people.

also why not get some smelling strips and let people smell the oils from their? As they are sniffing you could tell them a little about the oil, then entice them to booking a treatment or taking a leaflet from you.

i suggest a hairband or cotton showercap, and reikihealing because you are fully dressed!

is there any chance you could do a demonstration showing a back massage
on a friend or something - good towel management should protect modesty (they could get changed in the ladies and wrap a towel around themselves to get to your stand and massage table)

if not then a hand massage or even a foot/leg massage is a nice thing to do
also - make sure you have got plenty of change - fivers are usually in short supply - work out how many appointments you will be able to fit in and then have change for at least half

also could you have a leaflet saying that there will be a discount with it if an appointment is booked either at the show or within 14days?

have fun - you might not make much money on the day but you will meet some really nice people

Thank you for all your replies. I think I like the idea of giving a lovely hand massage with a choice of oils of my own blending to entice them in.....

I will need a very chilling massage at the end of the day me thinks.
