Are aromatherapy oils reusable on an oil burner?

I've been using Clary Sage oil on an oil burner, and have left the remaining oil on it when I'm finished.

If I was to light the burner again using the oil that was remaining that has already been heated before, would it still work? have the same effect?

Essential oils are very volatile, meaning that they evaporate rather quickly. And heat makes it that much quicker. I would doubt that any healing /calming properties remain so forget that. It's the volatile oils that enter the nose and cause the brain to put chemicals into the bloodstream to do the expected healing.
