On my first day at Sheraton, the concierge noticing that I was travelling alone told me not to associates with touts promising cheap massage or cheap girls. And he was right.... I was "coned" by one of these touts into a KTV that promises nice girls and the bill came out to 500RMB and I didn't even get to touch the chick...... 500RMB is a lot in a province where the average monthly salary is 800RMB. If you want to do "funny" business, I suggest you just get the pimp to get the chicks to your hotel. If you stay in Sheraton, the guards won't stop you becuase Sheraton Guillin is part owned by the Chinese government and police. I will be in Beijing and Shenzhen in April 06. Let me know if you will be in China and perhaps we can meet up.

I have only been to Guilin once in 2003 and stayed at Sheraton Guilin. At night, there are pimps loitering outside the Sheraton entrance. I paid 300RMB for a one shot no frills straight sex.
