I stopped into AM the other day and noticed Ocean Spa cards pinned onto the walk beside the door. I just find it interesting on how these spas are connected...

I've said it before, the influx of Asian spa and RMT locations is as a result of some very clever and connected influences. I have also been told the Asian owners are now working with the Russian escort group. Recently a very popular Asian micro group was advertising Russian escorts at one of their locations.

The ladies/guys posing as managers are most likely hired to look after "Cash" and ensure the places are being kept under the radar as much as possible. No different than drugs, the big boys are out of the limelight while the little boys and girls take care of the business.

Bob, you are on the mark for sure. Very few massage places in Canadian cities are owned by truly independent owners. A good chunk of the hundreds of billions stolen from national enterprises in China (and Russia) has found its way into criminal channels that are now laundering it in select western economies. Massage places are just one small space in the big picture. The licensed masseuse or the so called 'owner' are just props. We clients are just members of the cast who happily pay to be part of the facade. Btw, the same flow of stolen funds is also propping up the Canadian banks. They are addicted but have no way of getting off the gravy train. And since it has also inflated housing prices all over Canada (and Australia, the Bahamas and..., and...), all of us home owners don't want that flow of stolen money to stop either, or do we?

Prostitution, drugs, money laundering all go back way before our time for sure. Nowadays it's more sophisticated and camouflaged by false fronts.( did I spell those big words correctly?)

In the prostitution world, the game seems easier as big organized crime syndicates easily hide behind federal, provincial and municipal rules and regulations.

I find it such an oxymoron when Edmonton licenses all the Rmt and Adult MPs knowing full well what is going on behind closed doors. Then the local police set up stings to try to create an image they won't condone the activity.

Banks and real estate industry have become the only drivers of the Canadian economy fuelled by stolen monies from offshore that are being laundered here while authorities turn a blind eye. Mom and Dad just advance even larger down payments so that their progeny can buy into overpriced home markets, believing prices will go up for ever. Surprises are on the horizon as China cracks down on the outflow of stolen funds from state enterprises that once belonged to the people.
