My experience is that with indies you usually just have time for one SOG so you're paying more, usually for more time, but ultimately for the same service. Yeah, you get to talk to the girl and there's some fun in that but in the long run I'd rather have more fun more frequently.
For the girls, it's the opposite. They want to see as few guys as possible for as much money as they can get, so I totally understand their angle. With so many girls trying to go indie I just don't know how sustainable it is for them.
I know some girls who have been successful at it and they love it. Usually more money with much fewer clients and they have total control over who they see. But for most girls, they're not going to be able to sustain enough regulars to make it work. They've gotta be able to establish regulars and to do that they've gotta be really good looking and/or provide REALLY good service. I'm sure there's a surge in the beginning as guys who can afford the higher rates want to see them outside the spa, but I notice the girls advertising more and more as time goes on and I'll bet that's because guys try it out and then most revert back to seeing girls at the spa (for less $$ and the same result).
I see more and more girls going indie but I just don't think it's sustainable at the rates they're trying to charge. It's a tricky balance, almost like an equation. How many fewer guys paying more am I able to see, and does that at least equal what I'm making at the spa, and is it worth the added hassle of dealing with clients directly and all the administrative BS that's involved? For some the answer will be Yes but for many/most it will end up being No.
The best looking girls who offer at least decent service may be able to make it work but I think you'll see girls will try it and end up right back at the spa.
